Welcome the AS Media Coursework Blog. Congratulations on having completed the preliminary task part of your coursework. Now here are some details of the Main Task (Also in your booklets)

You will work in groups of 3 or 4 and together you must research, plan, film and edit the titles and opening of a new fiction film, to last a maximum of two minutes. (All video and audio material must be original, produced by YOU, with the exception of music or audio effects from a copyright-free source).

When you have completed the film, you must then produce an evaluation of the whole process. The presentation of the research, planning and evaluation may take the form of any combination of two or more of the following:

• a presentation using slideshow software such as Powerpoint;
• a blog or website;
• a podcast;
• a DVD with ‘extras’.
